Deck
Nixie has a lot of open deck space which is clad with flexiteak, and its incredibly clean and simple thanks to an un-cluttered deck layout. There is a large foredeck and cockpit and wide side decks with suitable hand holds.
Nixie has a very safe cockpit with twin steering wheels, large helm pedestals and comfortable seating and dinning area forward of the helms.
The cockpit also features an outside galley, cleverly hidden under the aft cockpit seats. The galley has a sink, electric barbeque and fridge drawer for drinks.
The area is protected from weather by a spray dodger and bimini (new) and the twin dinning tables electrically adjust for dinning, cocktails or convert to sunbeds!
There is direct access to the enourmous fold down transom/ swim platform/ tender launch deck from each side of the cockpit.
The tender garage under the cockpit accommodates a 2.7m inflatable tender (see details below) as well as swim/ side boarding ladder and any additional water toys.
Forward is a large sail locker, with access via deck hatch. The sail locker provides storage space for the code zero or gennaker, spare sheets etc, other rigging, deck wash hose and the compact washing machine. There is also access to the chain locker forward

Accommodation
Nixie has a four-cabin layout. Three large cabins (two aft and owners forward) and a bunk cabin perfect for kids or on passage to starboard aft of the navigation station.
All cabins have good natural light, ventilation, air conditioning and blinds/ screens, and the interior is finished in Walnut timber joinery and white fabric panelling.
The owners cabin forward has a large queen size island bed, small desk, excellent storage and hanging space and split ensuite (head and sink to starboard, full-size shower to port)
The VIP guest cabin is port aft, and has amazing headroom, large berth, and good storage. This cabin also has access directly to the aft head so is an ensuite.
The third cabin directly mirrors the on the starboard side but has no ensuite due to the bunk cabin which replaces the starboard side head.
Bathrooms: Both bathrooms have Jabsco electric, freshwater flushing toilets, large basins, good storage, and mirrors.
Main Saloon: The large main saloon has comfortable, leather upholstered sofas both side, and large hull windows which creates a great feeling of space. To port is a dinette for 6-8 people and the dinning table is convertible (coffee, dining, high/ low electric) and to starboard there is a pop-up Hisense TV and plenty of storage, as well as the aft facing Navigation desk/ station.
Air Conditioning
Bavaria “Gulf” upgraded air conditioning. Dometic 56,000 BTU system in all cabins, galley, and saloon. The system is reverse cycle and has a dehumidifier mode when the boat is unattended. There are additional 12V ventilation fans in each cabin.
Entertainment
Fusion MS-AV755 stereo with DVD/ Bluetooth/ AM/FM with two speakers in the saloon and two waterproof speakers in the cockpit. Wireless connectivity and wired remote on port helm pedestal.
Galley
Galley is forward in the saloon and is full beam, just one step lower than the saloon. To port is the main food preparation area with gas cooker, small fridge, sink etc. To Starboard is the microwave, fridge/ freezer drawers and wine fridge. Galley features as follows:

Nixie features North 3Di sails and the boat is very well set up for short handed, family sailing with the self tacking headsail and both working sails easy to furl.

Mast Rigging
Selden, Aluminium two-spreader mast with in-mast mainsail furling set up. The furler leads back to the cockpit winches for easy handling of the mainsail and the mainsheet is forward of the cockpit so very safe for guests onboard. The mast is supported by dyform wire standing rigging, split backstay with Selden hydraulic tensioner and the forestay is fitted with a Selden Furlex TD-400 underdeck manual headsail furler. The boom is also aluminium and has a Selden Rod Kicker Vang to support the boom whilst sailing.
General Remarks
Washing Machine: Daewoo Mini washing machine located in the sail locker forward.
