The Centurion 45 was a definitive step into modern design for Wauquiez. The boat was built strong, with all the build quality of the Wauquiez, but with a good performance Hull from Jean Berret. The result was a truly beautiful boat to sail. Perfect manners, and a good combination of up and downwind performance. Like many of her sisterships, ‘Down Under’ has cruised extensively. The three-cabin layout is generous and ideal for family sailing. Her protected cockpit is safe and dry. Strongly recommend this boat. She is very well cared for. Rigging/sails/engineering and aesthetics are all up to date.

- Mast Rigging
- The vessel is rigged as a fractional sloop. The Sparcraft anodised aluminium mast is fitted with three sets of slightly swept spreaders and rigged with cap shrouds, dis-continuous D1, D21, and D3 diagonal shrouds, aft lower shrouds forestay and a bridled backstay. The forestay is fitted with a Profurl R420 Genoa furling system. All standing rigging is 1 x 19 stainless steel wire and sheaves new 2025. The backstay is fitted with a Navtec hydraulic ram. A Seldon brand self-tacking jib track is fitted. All deck gear is good quality Harken brand including the winches. The vessel has an electric halyard winch.
