Beneteau 57 'The Count' - amazing opportunity!
‘The Count’, Sydney Harbour’s “pocket Super Yacht” and one of the finest examples of the Beneteau 57 is seeking a new custodian. Commissioned in 2010 by her current owners she has been meticulously maintained and loved. Primarily based in Sydney Harbour she has sailed the Australian Eastern Seaboard that included two passages to the Whitsunday Islands and whilst there, competed in the world-renowned Hamilton Island Race Week. The Count can be easily handled by two – in the case of the current owners, a couple. For racing, a crew of 5 easily accommodates her needs. All lines lead back to the fully enclosable centre cockpit making The Count the ideal cruising passage maker.
When asked what they love about The Count, the current owners pointed out that apart from the full beam owners cabin, it’s the aft deck made possible by the centre cockpit design. From here access to the water and tender is via a drop down hydraulic swim platform accessed via stairs – not a ladder.
The Count is in AMSA Survey of 1e & 2c. Whilst available for charter, she has operated in the ultra high-end yacht charter sector, usually entertaining between one and six guests, often with a private chef aboard.
The Count is the ideal short-handed passage maker, being in Survey possible to recoup expenses via the current owners’ contacts and future bookings. The current owners are happy to assist with this goal. Alternatively, take off on your own. In this case, the current owners are happy for a handover process to accommodate the experience of the new custodian.
