Suraya: A Timeless Sparkman & Stephens Masterpiece
Provenance, provenance!!!. This one has it in “spades”. Suraya is an excellent Sparkman and Stephens Yacht, showing all the input of German Frers before he left to form his own design house. I would say this has to be one of the very best examples, and on that basis alone is worthy of recognition and preservation. The Hull is perfection in Huon Pine planking, complimented with a Teak deck and varnished Mahogany Coach House. Recent interior paintwork completed in Bali and the boat was last out of the water 8 months ago in Lombok (Indonesia) for annual maintenance including antifoul. You get it correct if you get my enthusiasm for Suraya. This is a boat deserving a new owner to cherish and spoil her!
