Classic, fast cruising easily handled yacht!
The “30 Square Metre” is a reference to a specific class. They are all very similar in shape. The result is a classic, fast-cruising yacht, easily handled well known for their elegant lines and seaworthiness. The “Square Metre Rule” was adopted by the Royal Swedish YC in 1908. Typhoon is a very nice example, undergoing a substantial refit in June 2021 at Deagon Slipways in Brisbane and then sailed on her own bottom to Sydney. Current overhaul of the Nanni Diesel engine, new batteries, solar panel and deck refreshment make her a great harbour racer and weekend cruiser. An inspection of this classic yacht will not disappoint.
