“It’s good to be back and over the inevitable jet lag.
Such an exciting trip with some really good action in the European market. A few highlights: Sunreef 60 Loft. This was surely the boat of the show. It takes a luxury cruising cat to a level we all wish to aspire to. A full custom feel with a full dining setting, a generous al fresco area aft, all protected from the sun. It really takes indoor /outdoor living on boats to a new level. And finally a 60 footer which happily takes jet skis and all the water toys you desire. The upper helm is situated forward and makes for great visibility and sailing access. A Carbon Fibre mast means less sail area needed, and less jerking in a seaway. Just very very impressive, and with an Australian boat commencing build at the Gdansk factory, you can expect much more coverage on this boat. Next week, I will share news on the superyachts, Cannes had a really nice selection available for inspection, and Vicsail has all the inside info for local Superyacht sailors and owners.”
