Malveena - a true classic timber racer and cruiser is ready for her new owner!

Malveena was designed and built by the renown Clem Masters as his own racing cruiser, competing in the Sydney to Hobart in 1968. Not only was she built as the personal yacht of Australia’s most respected boat builder but Malveena has undergone 2 major restorations over her life by dedicated owners, respecting her original design while adding subtle comforts.

Malveena is 33 ft, a good size boat at the time and is of splined Oregon planks. The teak coach house and interior are in superb restored condition. She is an absolute showcase wooden boat with some modern comforts such as -pressurised water, electric head, Gas stovetop and oven, Eutectic refrigerator, combined with original or period style door furniture, tapware and fittings. With recent varnishing of all exterior highlights and a sparkling interior, anyone will be impressed with the maintenance of this vessel. A new Nanni 22 hp engine with shaft drive pushes her along swiftly, economically and reliably. There is nothing to be done here, just sail her straight to the nearest wooden boat festival and win all the ribbons.
