90 Foot
Boatspeed
90' Simonis/Voogd 'Nicorette'
LINE HONOURS, winner in the tough 2004 Rolex Sydney-Hobart race; this Simonis/Voogd-designed 90 footer was also second overall on IRC handicap. The hull is from Boatspeed and the Hobart was the very first race for the canting-keeled maxi. At 28 metres overall, she was shorter than her two 30m rivals Skandia and Konica Minolta but carried proportionally more sail area. While they retired, with serious structural problems Nicorette survived. Price reduced to sell! Can also be purchased 'as is' minus rig and commissioning for 1million AUD
